Project Kickoff

Kings Island Antique Car Ride

Cintech is happy to be the general contractor for the Kings Mills Antique Autos ride returning to Kings Island for the 2019 season.   Back on August 16th, Kings Island announced that they would be bringing back the antique car ride, a ride that was removed from  the park 14 years ago in 2004.  Prior to being removed from the park, the antique car ride, previously called Les Taxis, operated for 32 years 1972 to 2004 giving over 22.5 million rides.

The new version will last about three minutes and will be located in the Coney Mall section of the park, adjacent to The Racer and the Windseeker, across from the Juke Box Diner Restaurant (also a Cintech built project!!), and the Shake, Rattle, and Roll.  See site plan below.

Cintech will be responsible for building the main queue station, the gas station, two bridges, and three billboards.

Project team consists of TRA Design as architect, Cole Engineering Solutions as structural engineer, and SHP as MEP Engineer.
